Presentation of a historical themed publication and subsequent musical entertainment

On the occasion of Memorial Day 2020, Pro Loco Scarperia invites you to participate in the event, promoted by the Tuscany Region, to be held on Saturday 25 January 2020 at 16:00 in the Curtains Hall of the Palazzo dei Vicari

Sunday 17th November 2019 at 16:00 at the Curtains Hall of the Palazzo dei Vicari in Scarperia the event entitled “The two cousins: Cosimo I de ‘Medici and Caterina de’ Medici Valois” will be held.

The activity foreseen by the reading of a compelling adventure book among the lame of the Museum of cutting irons.

After the great show of Pistoia and Palazzuolo with over 3,000 visitors, Noferini’s photographic exhibition lands in the splendid fourteenth-century scenery of Palazzo dei Vicari.

Aperitif with snacks and drinks in the ancient frescoed rooms of the Palazzo dei Vicari, and then head on foot, passing the Florentine gate of the historic center, in the nearby San Barnaba Restaurant.

… many surprises and fun for the little participants!

Exhibition with Documents of the first women graduated in Florence, in collaboration with the University of Florence and specifically of the three libraries of the System: Biomedical, Science and Humanities.

The protagonists will be a series of blades from different eras and interesting also for the execution technique. Other blades will instead be characterized by aesthetic beauty. They will also be unpublished and rare pieces, a sort of “hidden treasures of the Royal Armory”.

In summer, the much-requested “Aperitifs on battlements” will return with at least 4 appointments. The dates will be communicated as soon as possible but the format will always be the same: guided tour and aperitif on the Palazzo dei Vicari’s battlements.
